Once you have a GrowthLine, we will need to set up your account. There are a few steps you will need to take before you can draw down funds.
Setting up your Growth Street account takes just a few minutes. Once completed, you will have access to your GrowthLine dashboard: from that point you’ll be able to access capital and start funding your business growth.
Connect your mobile number for a second level of authentication
To protect your account from those without authorised access, your mobile phone number is used as the second level of authentication for your Growth Street account.
It’s important to note that you will need access to this mobile phone whenever you want to access your Growth Street account. You will only be able to have one mobile number active on your account at any given time. However, if you require access for an additional user, or you lose your phone, please contact your Relationship Manager, who will be happy to help arrange an update to your account.
You will be prompted to add your mobile number when you first login after your account has been activated. A unique code will be sent to this number, which you you will be asked to enter on the next screen. The number will then be linked to your account.
Confirming your payee (via another SMS code)
Next, we will need you to confirm your bank account details.. To get this done, we’ll send a text message to the mobile number you registered with us. This message will also have a unique code, which you should enter when prompted.
Setting up a direct debit mandate
We collect service fees and a minimum monthly repayment each month via Direct Debit. Before you can draw down, you will need to set up a Direct Debit mandate with our partner, GoCardless.
To set this up, you will be redirected to the GoCardless website and prompted to enter the details required to arrange the mandate. Once you confirm this is correct, you will be redirected back to your Growth Street dashboard and will be able to draw down funds.
